28 April marks the 50th anniversary of Aer Lingus' first Transatlanatic service. The aircraft used were four-engined propellor Constellations on lease (with pilots) from a US airline. On the promotional flight on 24 April the pilot sang 'Kevin Barry' over the intercom to the passengers!
