Should Local History Groups take a stand on planning issues?
Should Local History Groups take a stand on planning issues?
If Local History Groups become aware of planning applications that would or might impact on historic sites, should they take a stand? Or, should they confine themselves to a neutral stance? Do they do more harm than good by intervening - making enemies or antagonising influential bodies etc?
